Infinity Basslink T 250 Watt Powered Pickup SUV Hatchback Subwoofer System Black

Infinity Basslink T 250 Watt Powered Pickup SUV Hatchback Subwoofer System Black

Infinity’s BassLink T has been developed to deliver great bass in pickup trucks, SUV’s and hatchbacks. Its low profile design allows it to be positioned in the confined space of a pickup truck, or behind the rear seats of a hatchback or SUV. Small in size but big in output, BassLink T requires produces enough bass to wake up the neighborhood. BassLink T consists of a 10-inch subwoofer, two 10-inch passive radiators and a 250-watt Class D amplifier housed in a great looking rigid polymer enclosure, all carefully engineered to work together as a unique, integrated system. The extremely versatile BassLink T accepts both speaker-and line-level inputs, and it provides an internal low-pass filter, proprietary signal processing and abundant amplification. User-adjustable controls allow listeners to set the system’s response to achieve optimum performance based on the vehicle’s cabin gain or transfer function. These controls include: a 0 or 180-degree phase switch; a continuously variable electronic low-pass filter that is adjustable between 70 and 170Hz; variable input sensitivity; and Bass EQ that provides for adjustments between +3 and – 6dB. At maximum gain, the system can accept inputs as low as 250mV. BassLink T includes a remote level bass control allow adjustments to be made from the drivers position.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars great sound, clean install and very compact
This basslink sounds excellent, not the loudest system ever but definately fills the car/suv and then some. great space saver too, its sooooo nice not having to hide an amp and run extra wires. The remote bass control is excellent, and leaves room in your trunk for plenty of cargo or whatever. I had it in a Grand Cherokee and it did exactly what I wanted it to. if your factory speakers are ok but just don’t cut it, then forget all the other expensive cumbersome upgrades and stick with this, you shouldn’t be dissappointed. I’m sort of an audiophile and have had many many systems before with giant amps and 15″ subs and all that, but this has been one of my favorites for the size, price, and sound!

1 Star love hate
These things sound incredible … when they work. Mine has failed twice on me. I’m about to be on my 3rd unit if I decide to pay the money. The first failure was while it was still under warranty and Infinity shipped me a brand new replacement. The second failure occurred after my warranty was up. The unit will power on but it will not produce any sound, even though it is being sent the proper signal. This is the second occurrence of the same type of failure. Not happy to say the least. Lucky for me I bought this directly from a friend that was once a Harman Kardon rep (HK owns Infinity) and I only paid $150. I had it mounted to the rear hatch of my 2004 Scion XB and it looked and sounded absolutely incredible … until it didn’t.

5 Stars BIG thundering bass in an incredibly small package
I have a 1994 Nissan regular cab pickup. It is TINY. There is NO room for a conventional sub/amp/box setup behind my seats. This unit is small enough to fit with the seat up only 1 notch. It POUNDS. I was utterley amazed with the bass comming from this thin, short unit. It fills the cab up with bass, no problems. It is deep, and thundering, but at the same time clear, quality bass. I have yet to need the wired bass control remote. Set it, and forget it. It doesn’t distort. It just beats, regardless of volume or music type. I would highly recommend it, but hold out for a deal. The MSRP of $500 is a bit high (but well worth it.) I got mine for $307 shipped from a seller here. Overall, this unit is a 500 out of 10 stars. My friend has a conventional 10 in a sub, with 300 watts, and he is jealous of this thing. Granted, it won’t set off car alarms, and annoy people blocks away, but it is still amazing. My tachometer needle bounces up to about 1,000 rpm when the bass hits, while the truck is off. Don’t even consider the cheaper BassLink models, if space is an issue in your regular cab truck. They are MUCH thicker than this unit is. It is less than 7″ deep at its deepest part. Sorry for the rambling review, but I can’t say enough good things about this unit. It simply kicks ass.

5 Stars Great for the car too!!!
Just installed it in a 2002 Crown Vic. Perfect fit, looks like it was made to be there. Great sound. Like the other reviewer said, you are not going to rattle the neighbors windows but inside the car…..VERY NICE!

Watch for good prices though. Paid $290 have seen it as high as $550.

Infinity Reference 1220de Dual 12 Inch Preloaded Enclosure with Slipstream Port Silver Black

Infinity Reference 1220de Dual 12 Inch Preloaded Enclosure with Slipstream Port Silver Black

The Infinity Reference 1220de provides superior performance to competing loaded enclosures primarily due to our revolutionary SlipstreamTM Port. The slipstream port provides lots of surface area outside the box so that the air stays stuck togetherthe engineers call it an Adverse Pressure Gradient. That gradual change from high pressure to low pressure eliminates the distortion we hear as whacking. Because the area of the port in the middle is much smaller than the mouth of the port, the port can be MUCH shorter than a cylindrical port with a surface area the same as Slipstreams mouth. That means it can fit into regular boxes.

5 Stars Really the best bang for the buck!!
I purchased In March 2009 & have loved it since! I have a 99 Lincoln Continental & so trunk space was not an issue & I have had many other systems in other cars! Since my 1st infinity purchase in 2000 I have used only Infinity Kappa!! But these are great & have just as much bass as my older 2 12″ kappa’s & Love the box these come in! When & if I blow these subs I will use this box for some Infinity Kappa Perfect 12″s!

I was skeptical about a loaded enclosure untill now! I have 450×2 Rms amp on these with another 4 channel running all 6 speakers in car & have a 1/0 guage wire kit with a dist.box that breaks into 2-4 gauge wires! Clarity of Infnity is known with amps!

I listen to rock, rap, punk, classical & these subs perform like champs & have the solid hit of bass from rock or rap drums & I even tried a bass comp CD & holly crap! My firnds have spent $1000′s more for over priced hyped up junk! But unless your going comp. These are great! The shake the hell out of my big car & I can’t get rid of the rattles I have outside of car becuase its the trunk lid, tail lights & underside of the car that rattles & I cant keep a full can of soda in the cup holder with out it spinning around & going flat quick!! Trust me you can feel your ears & nose vibrate with most songs!! Just now wishing I had a hatchback now!!

4 Stars Great little setup
Fantastic looking setup from infinity. Big but not too big, it fits perfect in the back of my Mazda 6. This thing hits like a ton of bricks, even vibrates my nose. It does tend to be a bit boomy, though I am personally used to sealed enclosures. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5. The splipstream port offers absolutely silent air movement even at max volumes, which I have always been picky about, so that is great. Easy to wire up to a mono-block amp at 2ohms. I runit with Infinity’s 600watt RMS mono amp and it’s a perfect fit. Not much more to say about it, it is a great little setup.

Infinity Reference 610a 456W x 1 mono subwoofer amplifier

Infinity Reference 610a 456W x 1 mono subwoofer amplifier

The high-frequency Class D switching power supply used in the Reference 610a is more efficient than traditional class A/B supplies and draws less current from your vehicle’s charging system. The Reference 610a features a 12dB per octave electronic crossover, allowing you to optimize bass performance based on enclosure type and subwoofer selection. Full-range preamp outputs facilitate use of multiple amplifiers without the need for noisy and expensive adapters or signal splitters. Dynamic Bass Optimization (DBO) provides variable filtering with adjustable “Q” below 100Hz, far beyond conventional “Bass Q” circuits, by allowing the low-frequency output to be optimized for specific subwoofer applications. Frequencies below an enclosure’s tuning frequency can be attenuated, preventing damage to the subwoofer and allowing the amplifier’s power to be better utilized.
